The City of Seneca has been named #1 in the State and #16 in the Nation by SmartAssets as the top retirement destination.

Situated in the “Golden Corner” of South Carolina Seneca is within Oconee County, an ideal place to live for many reasons, no matter ones age  but more and more retirees are drawn here to make it home, thus more than 20% of the population in the County is over 65.

Oconee County’s overall cost of living is 11.2% below the national average and South Carolina offers the 13th lowest taxes in the country.
